Week 14

Week 14: In this week I have started to write up the capability development plan for this course. 

Capabilities	Development Plan
Communication	I will develop clear communication with my lecturer to get a better understanding and feedback on my project report. I will do this by coming to class and getting feedback one-on-one or by emailing or texting him. By doing so, I can develop my communication skills to help me further in the other upcoming assessments.
Working Collaboratively	I will develop collaboration skills by discussing and exchanging ideas regarding the proposal report with my peers. Additionally, I can discuss my study plans with the lecturer. Through this, I can write my report with a better understanding and knowledge of report structure and the necessary information needed with the help and feedback I will receive from my peers and lecturer.
Self-Employment	Self-employment is a skill that means carrying out an activity independently. Therefore, for this proposal report, self-employment is a critical skill. In order To develop and further enhance my self-employment skills, I will create an appropriate plan to organise the information for my project research I need to finish this course successfully. Doing so helped me to become organised and better each time to complete this task on a given date, which is necessary for self-employment.
Problem Management / research	Problem and research management are other critical and essential skills to develop, especially for this report and other aspects in life. Therefore, to do so, I will keep myself up to date on developments and upcoming technologies to better equip myself with industry trends and news. This allows me to confidently write a report and share my understanding about specific topics with my peers.
Managing projects	I will develop management skills by ensuring that I complete the work project and evenly plan the time to complete the research project on the given due date. I will do this by using a tracking sheet, which will significantly make it easier for me to plan out the research I need. Additionally, I can create a Gantt chart using Microsoft Excel to help me visualise and evenly distribute the workload. Management skills are critical, and I can apply them to help me with other assessments, which can help me plan how to ensure that the workload for all the assessments is completed within the given timeframe.
Innovation and entrepreneurship	To help develop my innovation and entrepreneurship, I will habitually brainstorm new ideas, explore other foreign concepts, or do something different. Doing so can enhance my innovative thinking, which I can apply to this proposal project report and other aspects.
Critical thinking	Critical thinking skills involve challenging, analysing, interpreting, evaluating, and passing judgment on what you read, hear, say, or write. In order to develop critical thinking skills, I will generate critical ideas by questioning the sources and finding arguments. This will help me create ideas to incorporate into my research project.
Reflection on practise	I will improve my ability to reflect on practice skills by strictly analysing and reviewing my work once it is finished and coming up with suggestions and recommendations for specific areas on the report that I should improve going forward.
